GIVENCHY Fall/Winter 2014 Men's Show

For the fall/winter 2014 Givenchy menswear collection, Riccardo Tisci creates an urban atmosphere that combines the sobriety and geometry of the Bauhaus movement with basketball imagery.

Riccardo Tisci drew inspiration not only from basketballs themselves, but also from the design and materials of basketball courts to produce this season’s abstract prints.

The collection possesses a raw, near-animalistic vibe with the presence of muskrat and opossum fur and hunting-inspired hats. Other fabrics include cashmeres, angoras, flannels, and cotton poplins.

Tailoring is important this season and the new trouser silhouette is baggier, with double-pleats.

The overall look is chic and elegant and evolves the Givenchy gang look even further this season.
